This is one of the top surfing spots in Sir Lanka, with plenty of waves for beginners and experienced surfers.
| Sitas Garden - Cabanas
- The cabanas are located in the centre of Denuwala village. The area once belonged to a native family who used the place to grown vegetables, fruit trees and Ayurvedic medicinal plants as well as ornamental plants. We carefully constructed the cabanas without disturbing the nature too much. Therefore you can enjoy modern housing comforts within a very traditional garden.
- There is a railway line in front of the cabana site. The last evening train goes past at about 10pm and the first morning train goes about 5am. Across the railway line is the Buddhist temple. You can visit the main building by asking one of the monks.
- Within walking distance are taxis (three wheeler Tuk-Tuks), a bus stop and Midigama railway station. The beach is about 150 meters from the cabanas.
| | Rooms- The VILLA GAETANO guest house has 8 comfortable rooms with bathroom and mini bar (4 rooms with A/C and sea view) and its own safe to store your personal belongings. Each room has its own balcony and a 24-hours service to guarantee a very comfortable stay.
- We are sure that your staying in our guest house will be a unique and unforgettable holiday. For a long stay (2 weeks and more) or for groups, we offer special rates.
- The wooden cabanas are built in a traditional style and including some antique features such as the doors. The furniture is also in traditional style. Each cabana has a bedroom, an en-suite bathroom and a veranda under the one roof; each cabana is in a secluded position.
| Restaurant - In our RESTAURANT you can choose between Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese, Thai or European recipes - so we can satisfy every taste. We are cooperating with the local farmers and fishermen who are providing us with fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables and the famous Sri Lankan spices.
